Why is it that people r so obsessed with atheists? Theres barely any of us n yet your always talking about us?

  • Why is that? Id like to know where you live that theres so many atheists that you need to talk about us all the time. Cause i know if your in the United States, 85 percent of the losers are retarded enough to be christians.


  • I would tell you it takes twice as much faith, if not more to be an athiests that to beleive in a God Check out the book...I don't have enough Faith to be an athiest. Its a great read

    [025:021] And those who expect not a Meeting with Us (i.e. those who deny the Day of Resurrection and the life of the Hereafter) said: "Why are not the angels sent down to us, or why do we not see our Lord?" Indeed they think too highly of themselves, and are scornful with great pride.

    [025:022] On the Day they will see the angels ⠓ no glad tidings will there be for the Mujrimûn (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners) that day. And they (angels) will say: "All kinds of glad tidings are forbidden to you," [none will be allowed to enter Paradise except the one who said: Lâ ilâha illallâh (none has the right to be worshipped but Allâh), and acted practically on its legal orders and obligations ⠓ see the footnote of V.2:193].

    [025:023] And We shall turn to whatever deeds they (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners) did, and We shall make such deeds as scattered floating particles of dust.

    [025:024] The dwellers of Paradise (i.e. those who deserved it through their Islamic Monotheistic Faith and their deeds of righteousness) will, on that Day, have the best abode, and have the fairest of places for repose.

    [025:025] And (remember) the Day when the heaven shall be rent asunder with clouds, and the angels will be sent down, with a grand descending.

    [025:026] The sovereignty on that Day will be the true (sovereignty) belonging to the Most Gracious (Allâh), and it will be a hard Day for the disbelievers (those who disbelieve in the Oneness of Allâh ⠓ Islâmic Monotheism).

    [025:027] And (remember) the Day when the Zâlim (wrong doer, oppressor, polytheist) will bite at his hands, he will say: "Oh! Would that I had taken a path with the Messenger (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]).

    [025:028] "Ah! Woe to me! Would that I had never taken so-and-so as a Khalîl (an intimate friend)!

    [025:029] "He indeed led me astray from the Reminder (this Qur'ân) after it had come to me. And Shaitân (Satan) is to man ever a deserter in the hour of need." (Tafsir Al-Qurtubi)

    [025:030] And the Messenger (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) will say: "O my Lord! Verily, my people deserted this Qur'ân (neither listened to it nor acted on its laws and teachings).


  • No. there are lots of you all over the world. athiests, I mean. I dont feel Christians are obsessed with you. But, God tells us what will happen when you die, and because He cares and we care, we do think about you and wonder what we could say to get your to reach up to God and the plan He can for your life, for the gift of salvation, and for Heaven.. Oh How could anyone reject this gift of God. ? But ppl do, and God tells us it will happen. But, He also tells us to love ppl, forgive them, and teach the Good News to all.
    Why are you atheists concerned with us Christians? If you think we are all a big joke, just ignore us. And, why name call. We dont call you retarded. But retarded means a slow learner. With so much evidence of God, I wonder why so many miss it. Open your eyes. Open their eyes Lord that they may see Jesus. He is coming soon, open your eyes.

  • Here in the UK hardly anyone is religious, fortunately. Christians are generally regarded as a slightly weird minority and you never really see them talking about atheists because being atheist is the normal state of affairs here. I do feel sorry for people who have to live in places where religion has more of a hold on society. It must be very hard.


  • Easy answer. If you are right than they are wrong about the most important thing in their life.

    You do make it easy for people to ridicule atheists though. Some of the brightest minds the world has seen were Jesuit scholars, Islamic philosphers, etc. Calling them retarded says more about you than it does about them.

  • Ok I am not a Christian...I am a Muslim which I guess is worse...but why don't you actually look at the questions? It looks like it's all the athiests who are bashing the Christians, not the other way around...In fact, it usually seems like it is either Christians or Athiests bashing Muslims, or Athiests bashing anyone who believes in anything, and if a Christian does post something different than that, it is a fanatic and those really arn't to often. Other than that, there are some legit questions being asked.


  • You flatter yourself to think that I, or any other sane human being, would be obsessed with you. I'm not thinking about you and your cronies, and am certainly not talking about you. Haven't uttered the word "atheist" all day, in fact, until now.

    You're not in as much as a minority as you think. There are plenty of atheists where I live. Some of them are my good friends, despite the fact that I'm a believer.

    I choose to believe; they don't. It's no big deal.
