How signigicant is Neptune .....?

  • In synastry ? Pluto and to a lesser degree, Saturn is about karmic bonding...but what about Neptune ?

    I am involved in a relationship where my Neptune conjunct the other person's Venus in close orbs . In turn, the other person's Neptune is tightly opposite ( within 2 degree orb) both of Sun/Mars conjunction , also the other person's Uranus opposite my Sun/Mars ...while My Uranus is conjunct the other person's Moon.


    Lol...........is this a messed up synastry ? It feels so right , yet it is exhausting at the same time. I feel like I overlook every shortcoming that comes from the other person , and idealise everything.....yet I am kinda tired of being like a protector, a " hero " of some kind that needs to do the protecting , rescueing the " Princess " at the same time....

    And it feels so strongly addictive and binding .....yet it scares the living craB of out me.


    And now I am ranting......my mouth off....

    So based on your synastry experience/ personal thoughts , what do you think of those aspects in synastry ? and neptune and uranus being the chief significators ?

  • Hey Ryan,

    Neptune in synastry represents the ideal, but also the illusion of that ideal. You need to figure out which one this is. Of course it can be either or both as well, but I have to say that IMO when the outer planets are involved in synastry, it takes very evolved souls to channel that energy positively to achieve it's highest manifestation. Both people have to be in it 100 percent. The energy manifested through outer planet synastry is intense and yes, feels binding like nothing else. Most people can't take the heat. That I think is why many don't consider outer planet aspects in synastry, tending to favour personal planet compatibility. But people are changing and so are relationships, we're all evolving. Some of us are ready for this kind of relationship, others are not and chicken out. This sort of bond can be incredibly scary for those of us who aren't used to relating on this level with anyone, because when you're dealing with outer planets you're trancending the ego and it's needs and working on a higher level. It's a lot to ask of a mere mortal. Just my opinion.

  • I just dabble in this kind of thing, but I have to say that I think your second paragraph says it all............feels so right, yet, it is exhausting in playing the role of protector, rescuer, prince. And, it feels addictive too. What I like to know is why you feel you must play these roles with her - is she playing the role of victim? I hope this is not the same person who likes to jump because if so, it scares the craB out of me too.

    Anyway, I hope someone else comes along with better insight on this matter.

  • I don't pay much attention to Neptune, personally. I don't think it's that important.
