Am I allowed to do so and to post the translated files here ?
Freddie answered: You can not post enitre [entire] source files. IMO a compromise should be possible:
1. If Sven publishes about 3 translated files out of about 60 files, this would not give anybody the possibility of reconstructing a functioning vBulletin without using the other 57 source files. So IMHO the vB owners could allow a few translated files being posted.
2. Or Sven publishes only some part of that file: the translated lines are complete, and all the other lines consist only of the first two words (I could write a little Perl scriptlet to achieve this: Input two files, output one incomplete file.)
I would apprectiate very much all furtherings of translation work. Thank you in advance!

And it is not necessary to have all the discussion over there within the closed member’s area; the discussion should stay here (and should be searchable from this forum). Only if you want to download such a file you are asked to type your _Customer Number_ and your _Customer Password_.
As per the license agreement, we don't allow any full source files to be distributed. However, we're planning to implement some kind of "customer file sharing" system in the members area soon that will allow you to distribute these translated files to registered customers only.

This would be nice. Some of the hacks take quite awhile to implement, and if you accidently forget a line somewhere might as well order a pizza because you will be tracking it down for awhile.
